What is Shiloh

Shiloh is a space of compassionate support for our community and our city. Weaving together pathways of creativity, well-being, education and social justice to equip and empower. This decade marks a new beginning as we endeavour to widen the scope of what we provide through Shiloh.  This will initially include free counselling, mentoring, and support groups.   We are looking forward to how Shiloh will develop in 2020 and beyond!

Shiloh Counselling

At Shiloh we desire to provide a space where you can experience wholeness and healing. One of the ways we facilitate this is through providing free individual counselling for woman, teenage girls and children.

Our counsellor Sarah has a BA in Counselling and is a provisional member of NZCCA.   Sarah works very collaboratively with her clients and provides a safe and non- judgemental space for you to express your concerns at your own pace.  Sarah loves to instil hope and uses strength based strategies that help you build resilience and to empower you to heal and achieve your goals.

Some of the concerns Sarah works with are:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Abuse, sexual, physical, spiritual
  • Life Transitions
  • Faith and spirituality
  • Stress/Burn Out recovery and prevention
